As it was sunny with no wind yesterday I decided to ride south to Chabeuil then head passed the TGV station to Chateauneuf where there is a nice little bakery I haven't visited for ages. Unfortunately I got there at 14.20 and it was closed till 3pm. So I thought there'd be one in Romans I could stop at. I crossed the Isere and headed to Curson which is half way between Romans and Tain Hermitage/Tournon.
When I got there I discovered that they have finished the by-pass around the village and, on reaching the nice new roundabout, my eye was distracted by the sight of one of these new style bakeries/cafes. With 50k's worth of data in the Garmin and realising that I had no specific objectives to be out training for anyway, a few minutes of cake analysis was in order.
